Spring is here and baseball is back! The Spuds opened their season with enthusiasm and eagerness to get back on the field after the pandemic forced a one-year hiatus a year ago.
Before Spring Break, the team opened with a win over Nordhoff, suffered a loss on the road to Vasquez, and then rebounded with a decisive 12-2 win over Newbury Park Adventist, the first league game of the season.
The Spuds will face The Thacher School on Saturday at 3:00 p.m. at Thacher. Next week, they will play at Villanova on Wednesday at 3:30 p.m. and then Villanova will come to the Upper Campus for a game on Friday at 3:00 p.m. Check the schedule on the website calendar and read more about the season opener against Nordhoff on the student journalism website, On The Hill.
